Gilbert, AZ – A Gilbert police officer was hurt in a collision that happened Monday morning near Elliot Road and Oak Street.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, the incident took place around 11 a.m. on August 3, 2026.
The crash involved the officer’s vehicle and another car. It was unclear if the officer was in a marked patrol car and if the siren and lights were activated at the time of the crash.
The officer was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was injured.
Gilbert PD is investigating the collision.
