San Jose, CA – A bicyclist was injured after colliding with a vehicle Wednesday afternoon at an intersection near the Plata Arroyo Park in San Jose.
The incident was reported around 3:49 p.m. on July 29, 2026, near King Road and McKee Road.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the cyclist sustained severe injuries after colliding with an unknown car. The victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
The intersection was closed during the investigation. Motorists were advised to use alternative routes.
Units are currently in the area of King Rd and McKee Rd investigating a vehicle collision involving a bicyclist. The bicycle rider was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver remained on scene.
