Fresno, CA – Three people were injured after a driver ran a red light Tuesday evening at an intersection in Fresno, authorities reported.
According to the Fresno Police Department, the crash occurred around 7 p.m. on July 28, 2026, at Maple and Butler avenues.
The accident happened when a pickup truck traveling south on Maple Avenue entered the intersection with Butler Avenue against a red light and collided with two SUVs, one heading east and another west.
The pickup truck overturned onto its roof after the collision, trapping the driver inside.
All three drivers sustained minor injuries. They were sent to the hospital for treatment.
Impairment was not believed to be a contributing factor.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
