Fallbrook, CA – A man from Oceanside was hit and killed by a vehicle at a parking lot in Fallbrook on Thursday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at Stepping Stone Resources located at 800 S. Main Avenue at about 9 a.m. July 23.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian, who was under the care of the facility, was lying down in the parking lot when a van struck him.
The North County Fire Protection responded to the site of the accident and located the pedestrian with major injuries.
The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared deceased. He was identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office as Ryan Edward Radabaugh, 53, of Oceanside.
The driver of the van stayed at the scene after the collision.
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
