Authorities reported that a 17-year-old girl was driving a pickup truck when she crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a van driven by a 69-year-old Prescott man.
Yavapai County, AZ – A man died, and a teenage girl was hospitalized after a head-on collision that happened Wednesday in Yavapai County.
According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, the wreck occurred on July 15, 2026, near mile marker 4.
Authorities reported that a 17-year-old girl was driving a pickup truck when she crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a van driven by a 69-year-old Prescott man.
The man was transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
The teenage driver was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
