Millbrae, CA – A driver died after he was ejected from his car in a rollover collision that happened Thursday evening on Highway 101 near the San Francisco International Airport.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 7 p.m. on July 2, 2026, on southbound Highway 101 near Millbrae Avenue.
CHP officers responded to the area after they received reports of a rollover crash with ejection.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found a man lying in traffic lanes with serious injuries. The victim was rushed to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was driving a white Toyota Camry that overturned several times after colliding with another car. The driver of the Camry was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver of the other car was not hurt.
The collision is under investigation.
