67-year-old Pauline Terrazas died following the crash that was reported at around 9:15 p.m. June 21, in the 600 block of Brundage Lane.

Brundage Lane, CA – The woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night in east Bakersfield has been identified by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
67-year-old Pauline Terrazas died following the crash that was reported at around 9:15 p.m. June 21, in the 600 block of Brundage Lane.
According to a report by the Bakersfield Police Department, Terrazas entered Brundage Lane and was struck by a man driving a pickup truck. The victim was reportedly hit in an unmarked crosswalk.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after and found Terrazas with major injuries. She was rushed to Kern Medical, where she was pronounced deceased a few minutes later.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and was cooperative with the investigators. Speed and impairment were not believed to have played any role in the crash, according to the investigators.
