According to the report, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 when, for unknown reasons, he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic.

South Lake Tahoe, CA – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving a vehicle on Highway 50 in South Lake Tahoe on Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the wreck happened near Slippery Ford Road at around 11:20 a.m. June 22.
According to the report, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Highway 50 when, for unknown reasons, he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic. The rider crashed head-on with a westbound Lincoln Navigator.
The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the site of the accident. His name was not immediately released.
The driver of the other vehicle was unharmed in the collision and stayed at the scene.
According to the authorities, it’s unclear whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is still working to establish the exact circumstances of the accident.
