Los Angeles, CA – Eight people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened early Friday morning on the 101 Freeway in East Hollywood, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The pileup occurred around 1:43 a.m. on June 19, 2026, on the southbound 101 Freeway at North Vermont Avenue.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the cars overturned.
LAFD firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated all the persons involved.
Eight people sustained varying degrees of injuries. Two of them were transported to local hospitals in unknown condition. The other six were treated at the scene but refused transportation.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
