Woodland Hills, CA – One person died, and another was hurt in a traffic collision that took place early Wednesday morning in Woodland Hills, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 1:26 a.m., April 22, on Highway 101 just north of Valley Circle Boulevard.
A Jeep Compass, a Dodge Charger, and possibly a third vehicle were involved in the accident. Two of the cars collided, and then the third vehicle hit them moments later.
Two people were stuck inside one of the cars. One person was unconscious, and the other was conscious.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead. The Los Angeles County coroner responded to the scene following the fatality.
At least one other person sustained unknown injuries.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
