Arcata, CA – A motorcycle rider was injured after being involved in a crash with a vehicle on Miller Lane near Arcata on Thursday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place just before 8:26 a.m. April 16, at Heindon Road.
Through investigation, CHP learned that a man in his 20s was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a head-on collision with a silver 2008 Toyota Avalon. It’s unclear what caused the two to collide.
Emergency crews attended to the motorcyclist, who had neck and back pain as a result of the collision. The victim’s injuries were described by the CHP as minor.
The driver of the Toyota stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. Authorities did not release the identities of the involved parties.
There was no further information on the accident. An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is currently ongoing.
