Investigations revealed that Joseph Douglas Gray, 32, was driving a Dodge Charger when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with a Chevy Cruze that was driven by Rodriguez

Fresno, CA – The man who died following a two-vehicle collision that happened on Friday morning in Fresno has been identified.
According to the Fresno Police Department, Angel Damian Rodriguez, 24, of Madera, was the victim of the wreck that took place at Chestnut and Dakota avenues shortly after midnight on Friday, April 10.
Investigations revealed that Joseph Douglas Gray, 32, was driving a Dodge Charger when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and collided with a Chevy Cruze that was driven by Rodriguez.
The impact of the crash ejected Rodriguez from the Chevy, which crashed into a pole after colliding with the Dodge.
Emergency crews transported Rodriguez and a passenger in his vehicle to a hospital. Rodriguez was declared deceased at the hospital while his passenger was listed in critical condition.
Police determined that Gray was driving while intoxicated. He had three puppies in his vehicle and one of them sustained serious injuries.
Gray was arrested and booked on multiple charges including murder, DUI, vehicular manslaughter, causing great bodily injury while intoxicated, failure to stop for a red light, driving with a suspended license, and animal cruelty.
An investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
