Manteca, CA – A Friday night collision involving two vehicles on State Route 120 in Manteca sent one person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities received reports of the collision around 10:04 p.m., May 22, on the eastbound SR-120 just west of Main Street.
Firefighters responded and blocked the No. 2 lane near the scene, where a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van and an SUV had collided. The SUV had major rear-end damage.
One person required to be transported to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Two metal posts attached to a galvanized wire fence in the center divider were damaged in the collision.
Both vehicles were towed away from the scene.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
