Preliminary reports indicate that a dark-colored pickup collided with a Muni bus near the intersection for reasons that were yet to be determined.

San Francisco, CA – Two people were injured in a collision involving a Muni bus in the Mission District area of San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck occurred near 22nd and Mission streets on Wednesday, May 20.
Preliminary reports indicate that a dark-colored pickup collided with a Muni bus near the intersection for reasons that were yet to be determined.
Police and crews with the San Francisco Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after and attended to the involved individuals.
Medics evaluated three people for possible injuries and two of them were eventually transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A third person declined to be transported to the hospital.
It wasn’t clear whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the collision.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area as roads were shut for investigation and cleanup.
No further details on the accident were immediately available. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
