Sacramento, CA – One person was killed and several others injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Saturday morning.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the wreck happened at around 11:30 a.m. April 4, on Marconi Avenue and Marconi Circle.
Investigations reveal that three vehicles were involved in the accident, whose cause remained under investigation.
The Sacramento Police Department officers and emergency crews immediately responded to the scene and attended to the involved individuals.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced one person deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity is expected to be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Five other parties sustained injuries ranging from minor to major. They were all transported to a hospital and were expected to survive.
Roads were shut down for an unspecified duration as authorities worked to clear the scene.
