Sacramento, CA – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident occurred around 2:27 p.m., March 26, on Main Avenue, just in front of the elementary school in the area.

Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to the hospital.
