According to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department, the incident was reported around 8:57 a.m. on East Carrillo Street at Anacapa Street.
Emergency personnel received reports of a pedestrian collision in the area of Santa Barbara Farmers Market, but upon arriving, they found the incident happened in the parking lot of the U.S. Bank at Anacapa and Carrillo streets.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a pedestrian had been sitting on a sandstone wall by the sidewalk when a vehicle knocked her over after leaving a parking spot.
The victim was taken to the hospital by American Medical Response with minor injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
