Wood County, TX. – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday afternoon in Wood County.

According to local police, the accident happened on Highway 69 at FM 779 at around 6 p.m.

A Ford Fusion was traveling northbound when it crossed the center lane and hit a concrete barrier before colliding head-on with a Ram pickup truck.

The driver of the Ford Fusion was pronounced dead at the scene.
