Tacoma, WA – The Tacoma Police Department is investigating a collision that left two people injured in the city on Tuesday afternoon.
The multi-vehicle collision took place at around 3:07 p.m. March 3, in the area of East 72nd Street and McKinley Avenue.
A preliminary investigation determined that three cars were involved in the accident and one of them slammed into a pole. Authorities were still trying to figure out what led up to the collision.
Tacoma police and the Tacoma Fire Department crews immediately responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision.
Medics transported one party to a hospital for treatment. The victim’s identity and extent of their injuries were not immediately available.
One other patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
