Canoga Park, CA – Three people were hurt in an incident where a vehicle crashed into a barbershop in Canoga Park on Saturday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The wreck was reported shortly before 2 p.m. January 24, in the area of Shoup Avenue.
Authorities reported that a vehicle crashed head-on into the front of the barbershop. Reasons as to why the driver crashed into the building were not immediately determined.
First responders arrived a few minutes later and attended to the injured parties.
Three people inside the building were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. Two of the hospitalized patients reportedly had serious injuries.
Firefighters helped clear the building of shattered glass and other debris from the crash.
The identity and condition of the involved driver were not immediately released. Authorities are working to determine the cause of the accident.
