Snohomish County, WA – The Washington State Patrol is investigating a fatal car accident that left at least one person dead on State Route 203 in Snohomish County on Wednesday night.
At around 6:30 p.m. January 7, authorities were called to the scene of a collision near Cherry Valley Road, between Monroe and Duvall.
On-scene investigations determined that two cars were involved in the crash. The circumstances under which the vehicles collided were not immediately established.
The WSP and emergency personnel arrived at the scene a few minutes later and attended to the people involved. There was no confirmation on the number of those involved.
Troopers reported that the accident claimed the life of at least one individual. The victim’s name, age, or gender were not specified.
The accident led to the closure of SR 203 for an unknown period of time as crews worked at the scene. The Washington State Patrol is investigating to establish the cause of the deadly Snohomish County accident.
