Barstow, CA – A pedestrian died after being struck by a semi-truck Wednesday night in Barstow, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 9:14 p.m. on Interstate 40 near Interstate 15.
A pedestrian was reportedly laying in the roadway near Montara Road when they were hit by a semi-truck.
A Barstow firefighter pronounced the person dead at the scene at 9:33 p.m.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
