Scottsdale, AZ — A bicyclist died Monday afternoon following a collision with a vehicle at an intersection in Scottsdale, according to Scottsdale Police.

The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on December 8 at the intersection of Raintree Drive and Thompson Peak Parkway.

Authorities said the bicyclist was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died. The name of the victim has not been provided.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities have not yet determined what led up to the collision, and no arrests have been reported. Thompson Peak Parkway was closed between Raintree Drive and Redfield Road for several hours while detectives investigated.
