San Rafael, CA. – At least one person died in a San Rafael car accident that happened Monday afternoon on Highway 101, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The incident transpired around 4:33 p.m. on the southbound side of the highway near the Manuel T Freitas Parkway on-ramp.

A gray Ford Explorer, a dark-gray Honda CR-V, and a gray Audi were involved in the collision.

One of the cars had all its airbags deployed.

At least one person was killed in the accident, as per the report.
