Fresno, CA. – A Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy and a woman were injured in a car crash on Sunday morning in Fresno.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Cornelia Avenue.

A deputy was driving southbound on Cornelia Avenue while responding to a call for service when he collided with a car that was pulling out of a driveway.

The deputy and the woman driving the car were taken to the hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
