Malibu, CA. – A woman was injured Monday morning after her vehicle went over an embankment in Malibu, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 11:20 a.m. in the 2900 block of Sequit Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Authorities said the woman’s car went off the roadway and over the side of an embankment.
Responding fire crews hoisted the driver out of a ravine by helicopter around noon. She was transported to the hospital in moderate condition.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
