According to TPD, Chavez was riding as a passenger in a silver 2004 Nissan Armada that had been traveling north on Campbell Avenue

Tucson, AZ.- Georgia Ann Chavez, 58, was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Tucson on Saturday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The incident took place in the 2800 block of North Campbell Avenue on August 30.
According to TPD, Chavez was riding as a passenger in a silver 2004 Nissan Armada that had been traveling north on Campbell Avenue
For unknown reasons, the Armada drifted into the southbound side, then went off the roadway and slammed into a utility pole.
Chavez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Armada, a 44-year-old, was taken to Banner University Medical Center with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
