According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place just before 6 p.m. on eastbound Highway 60 near Heacock Street.
A Hyundai Tucson and another vehicle, possibly a pickup truck, were involved in the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported at least two people to Riverside University Health System for treatment of unknown injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
