Baypoint, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized with major injuries after a collision that happened Friday morning in Baypoint, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident took place around 6:56 a.m. on westbound Highway 4, just east of the Bailey Road off-ramp.
A motorcycle and a sedan were involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist sustained possible major injuries, including a sprained ankle. Paramedics transported the patient to John Muir Health Walnut Creek Medical Center.
Several lanes were blocked following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
