For an unknown reason, a pedestrian was in the eastbound lanes of US 60 when they were struck by a vehicle
Wickenberg, AZ.- Authorities are investigating a major crash that left a pedestrian dead late Wednesday night near Wickenberg.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred on US 60 near milepost 84 shortly before midnight on Wednesday, August 20.
For an unknown reason, a pedestrian was in the eastbound lanes of US 60 when they were struck by a vehicle.
The victim died of their injuries at the scene.
It’s unclear whether the involved motorist remained at the scene.
The DPS is working to find out what led up to the crash.
