1 Person Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on Ronald Reagan Freeway in Mission Hills

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the westbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway near the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp around 3:26 a.m. after they were notified about a single-vehicle collision.

Mission Hills, CA. – One person died, and two others were hospitalized after a collision that happened early Friday morning in Mission Hills.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the westbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway near the Sepulveda Boulevard on-ramp around 3:26 a.m. after they were notified about a single-vehicle collision.

The officers found a gold Toyota that left the on-ramp, hit the guardrail, and crashed on a freeway embankment.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others were hospitalized in an unknown condition.

One of the victims was reportedly ejected in the crash.

Investigators closed two lanes of the freeway during the investigation.
