Byron, CA. – One person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Friday afternoon in Byron, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 4:41 p.m. on westbound Altamont Pass Road near West Grant Line Road.
Three vehicles, including a Toyota RAV4, were involved in the crash. The RAV4 overturned, blocking the driver.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported the patient to the hospital in unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
