According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 8:40 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 at the East Blithedale Avenue off-ramp.
Three cars, including a Chevrolet Suburban, were involved in the accident.
Marin County firefighters responded to the scene and helped at least one person who suffered minor injuries, including the complaint of pain to the back.
