Riverside, CA. – At least one person was hospitalized with major injuries after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening in Riverside.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 8:22 p.m. on westbound State Route 60 near Market Street.
Four vehicles, including a green Kia Soul and a black Hyundai Genesis, were involved in the crash.
The Kia was occupied by two juveniles, including a 17-year-old.
One person was reportedly trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Riverside firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and transported one person to Riverside Community Hospital with major injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
