Oxnard, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by two vehicles in Oxanard on Friday morning, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The incident took place on Hueneme Road and Salvador Drive at around 6 a.m.
The man was reportedly walking in the roadway when he was struck by two vehicles.
The victim was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The eastbound lanes of Hueneme Road were shut down as authorities worked to clear the scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
