Theodore Kleinman Fatally Injured in Linn County Head-On Accident on State Route 22 near Milepost 64

Linn County, OR. – Theodore Kleinman, 79, of Redmond, was killed in a crash that injured Delores Ann Carroll, 76, and Glenn L Carroll ,51, both from Rosemond, in Linn County last week Friday.

According to the Oregon State Police, the accident happened around 11:34 a.m. January 17, on State Route 22 near milepost 64.

A preliminary investigation indicated a red Cadillac, operated by Kleinman was traveling eastbound on the highway near Minto Road when it left the roadway and struck a blue Ford F15, operated by Ann Carroll head-on.

Both drivers were seriously injured and transported to an area hospital.

L Carroll who was a passenger in the Ford was transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

Kleinman later died at the hospital.

The highway was impacted for approximately four hours during the on-scene investigation.

The accident is being investigated.
