Rosamond, CA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning near Rosamond.

At around 3:31 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a collision in the area of 40th Street and Rosamond Boulevard.

A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.

The Kern County Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced the pedestrian dead.
