Temecula, California (November 6, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized after a head-on collision that happened Sunday night in Temecula, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The wreck occurred around 10:17 p.m. on northbound Pala Road just south of Los Encinos Drive.

Two vehicles collided head-on for unknown reasons.

One of the cars overturned onto its side, trapping the occupants.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and helped the victims.

Two people were taken to Inland Valley Hospital with the complaint of pain.

Officers are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
