1 Killed in Visalia Car Crash on Highway 43 near Avenue 56
Visalia, California (April 27, 2023) – A man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Thursday morning in Visalia.
At around 5:35 a.m. the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a traffic collision on Highway 43, north of Avenue 56.
44-year-old Jorge Huesla, of Corcoran, was driving a 2020 Kenworth tractor-trailer southbound on Highway 43 when he was rear-ended by a 2017 Nissan driven by a 71-year-old male from Alpaugh.
The Nissan driver was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
