1 Injured in Merced Car Accident on Highway 59 and Mission Avenue
Merced, California (March 3, 2023) – At least one person complained of pain following a two-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon in Merced, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision happened at around 3:15 p.m. on March 2 on southbound Highway 59, just north of Mission Avenue.
Police confirmed two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles went into a ditch after the accident.
Fire officials and medical personnel arrived at the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain due to the accident. Authorities did not release the total number of patients and their current condition.
The vehicles were removed from the crash site by tow trucks.
