1 Killed in Oceanside Car Crash on Highway 78 near Emerald Drive
San Diego, California (February 26, 2023) – At least one person died in a two-vehicle collision near Vista in Oceanside on Sunday morning.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 78 near Emerald Drive at around 10:21 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A gray SUV and a sedan were involved in the accident. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Officials say at least one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not publicly disclosed.
