Joshua Luna ID’d as Victim of Deadly Crash on SR-138 in Hesperia

Hesperia, California (January 24, 2023) – 39-year-old Joshua Luna of Hesperia was identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner as the person killed in a car crash that happened last week in Hesperia.

The incident transpired on Wednesday, January 18, at about 4:22 a.m. on Highway 138, west of Cleghorn Road.

The wreck involved a blue Ford Explorer and a 2001 Dodge 1500.

Luna was driving the Dodge when he reportedly lost control and went up the dirt hillside. His car overturned onto the roadway and was struck by the Ford.

Luna was ejected in the crash and sustained fatal injuries.

Another person was hospitalized with critical injuries.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Victorville Station is investigating the accident.
