Woman Hospitalized After Sacramento Bicycle Crash near Bayou Way and Power Line Road
Sacramento, California (January 20, 2023) – A female bicyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after she was hit by a car Thursday evening in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place at about 6:20 p.m. near Bayou Way and Power Line Road next to the Sacramento International Airport.
Sacramento firefighters responded to the scene and found a woman in her 40s suffering from serious injuries after she collided with a car. The firefighters transported the victim to a local trauma center in critical condition.
Police are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
