Nolen Praytor Identified as Modesto Man Killed in Modesto 2-Vehicle Crash on Claribel Road near Coffee Road

Modesto, California (November 3, 2022) – Nolen Praytor, 53, of Modesto, has been identified as the man who was killed in a Wednesday night two-vehicle accident in Modesto, according to the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened at about 9:45 p.m., on November 2, on Claribel Road near Coffee Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Paul Ryun, 52, of Oakdale, was driving a Toyota SUV westbound on Claribel Road when he stopped at a red light in the left turn lane to southbound Coffee Road.
Ryun reportedly proceeded against the red light, driving into the intersection, where his Toyota collided with a Mercury operated by Praytor.
Sadly, Praytor was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ryun sustained major injuries and was transported to Doctors Medical Center.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
The crash remains under investigation.
