1 Seriously Injured in Collision on Highway 76 near Thoroughbred Lane in Oceanside
San Diego, California (October 6, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a suspected DUI crash that occurred on Wednesday night in Oceanside.
The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 76 near Thoroughbred Lane at around 8:41 p.m.
A black sedan and a white SUV were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities suspect drugs and/or alcohol was a factor in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
