Isaac Linares Dies in Moreno Valley Crash at Moreno Beach Drive and Cactus Avenue

Moreno Valley, California (October 3, 2022) – Isaac Linares, 17, of Moreno Valley, was killed in a traffic collision that happened on Sunday afternoon in Moreno Valley, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place at around 3:16 p.m. October 2, in the area of Moreno Beach Drive and Cactus Avenue.
According to the authorities, Linares was driving a 2001 Lexus IS300 north on Moreno Beach Drive when he ran a red light and was broadsided by a white 2020 Honda Odyssey that had been going east on Cactus Avenue.
The impact pushed the Lexus into a traffic signal pole located in the northeast corner of the intersection.
Linares died at the scene of the accident while his passenger, an underage girl, was transported with major injuries.
The six people riding in the Honda suffered minor injuries.
The crash caused road closures in the area as authorities investigated the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
