33-Year-Old Prajal Bista Killed in Woodland Crash on Highway 16 and County Road 97
Woodland, California (April 15, 2022) – Prajal Bista, 33, was killed in a fiery car accident on Thursday night west of Woodland.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a Honda Civic that was traveling west on Highway 16 and collided with a Chevrolet Impala heading north on County Road 97.
The force of the crash caused the Impala to crash into a utility box and it overturned.
The incident reportedly happened just after 11 p.m. April 14.
Bista was the driver of the Honda and died at the site of the accident.
Prajal Bista Dies in Woodland Collision on Highway 16
A 25-year-old Woodland man driving the Impala was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.Â
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
