Minor Injuries Suffered in Fairfield Car Accident on Interstate 80 near Green Valley Road On-Ramp
Fairfield, CA: Rollover Crash Involving Cal Fire Truck on Interstate 80
Fairfield, California (December 13, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a rollover car collision involving a Cal Fire truck that took place Monday morning in Fairfield, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at around 7:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80, near the Green Valley Road on-ramp.
The report said a Cal Fire truck collided with another vehicle for unknown reasons. The truck overturned and came back on its wheels. At least one occupant in that car needed extrication.
A light pole was also struck and downed in the collision.
Authorities said at least one person sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating.
