Lawrence Harris Killed in Anaheim Car Crash at Knott and Orange Avenues, Edward Angulo Arrested
Anaheim, California (September 2, 2021) – 37-year-old Lawrence Harris has been identified as the Buena Park man who died following an alleged hit-and-run collision in Anaheim Sunday night.
The deadly crash happened at Knott and Orange avenues on August 29.
A vehicle driven by Harris on the roadway was struck by another automobile whose driver ran a red light at the intersection for undetermined reasons.

Sadly, Harris was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials affirmed that the other motorist who ran a red light, 30-year-old John Edward Angulo, did not stop to render aid and fled the scene on foot.
Angulo, an Orange resident, was later found sleeping in another vehicle near the crash site and was arrested. He was charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run with a severe and permanent injury.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
