Redlands, California (August 26, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office has identified the pedestrian who died after being struck by a train last week on Wednesday in Redlands as Bret Breuing, 33, of Beaumont.

At around 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, the Redlands Police Department responded to the area of Timoteo Canyon Road and Alessandro Road to investigate the report of a pedestrian hit by a train.

The pedestrian, now identified as Breuing, was declared deceased at the scene at 12:45 p.m.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation by the Redlands Police Department.
